Each tribe is instructed to choose one member to get on a boat to go on a journey.
Matthew Grinstead-Mayle
Josh Wilder
Helen Li
The three tribe representatives meet at a private summit.
Helen, Josh, and Matthew do not interact much.
The three representatives are told to split between three different paths where they would make a decision in private.
Each castaway is met with a bag containing three packages.
Two contain a note that would render them ineligible to vote at their next Tribal Council, while one contains an advantage.
They must each draw one package. If they receive the advantage, they are free to go.
If they lose their vote, they are offered the chance to draw a second package.
If they draw the second package, they will either lose their vote a second tribal council or receive the advantage.
Matthew loses his vote.
He risks another vote to draw again.
Matthew draws the advantage.
It is the Bank Your Vote Advantage, which can be used to earn an Extra Vote at tribal council by sacrificing a vote.
Josh loses his vote.
He risks another vote to draw again.
Josh loses his vote for the next two Tribal Councils.
Helen draws the advantage.
It is a Safety Without Power, which can be used to leave a Tribal Council without placing a vote.
Proceed.
